Q: What inspired the creation of HP Visual Connections, LLC ?

A: I became interested in graphic design when I started my gospel recording group Highest Praise in 2000.

Q: What is it about Graphic & Web Design and Branding Strategic Planning that interests you?

A: I’ve always found computer technology and word processing interesting since the invention of desktop computers with floppy discs. I absolutely love what I do, I could do it all day long.

Overall, when I’m working on a project my goal is to make sure that I am capturing the client’s vision. Helping Independent Artists, Small Business Owners & Entrepreneurs present themselves to their target markets in the most creative, professional way to increase their client base and reach their target market.

Q: How can the local community and surrounding areas benefit from your services?

A: My services are geared to target the small business owner, entrepreneurs and indie artists who understand the importance of making an impact on social media, but they don’t have the time to manage it or the knowledge and skill of how it actually works. Internet marketing and advertising is a huge undertaking but without it today you are missing a large demographic of people who are looking for your product or services. HPVC is the missing piece.

Q: What are your goals and strategies for promoting your business’s growth?

A: I have been strategically targeting companies, business owners and entrepreneurs who want to enhance and grow their online presence to increase their sales and bring awareness to what they do.

Since March of 2020, when the pandemic hit, I have been focusing on churches and small businesses that don’t even have a website. It is necessary.

HPVC has cut their prices by 50% on most of our services due to the pandemic.

Q: What are some of the challenges you’ve faced?

A: Getting people to trust me because most of the clients I have been getting have been involved with a shady deal in some way in the past when it comes to the internet marketing. Some of the stories that I hear are really heartbreaking because its already a struggle to start a business and with the competition and then having to worry about trusting your web designer that’s too much.

Getting clients to understand that investing in their business is important. There are a lot of people who just don’t want to pay or they think they can do it themselves and when they realize that they can’t now they come to me and want me to fix it and that is not what I do. It is also more costly for me to handle a mistake or a botched job then it is if they would just pay the rate and hire me from the beginning.

Q: What is your vision for the company?

A: It is my determination to be the one person who is honestly interested and invested in Your dream as if it were my own. I learned through my own experiences that this is one of the things that sets us apart from other agencies that offer some of the same services we do. We can and will service every aspect of your project from business cards to fully functional websites.

We have partnered with other small business owners of like minds and Jesus Christ and Kingdom building will always be the center and foremost important thing we do.

Q: What is your strategy for selecting the right team members?

A: Prayer & Fasting. Being led by the Holy Spirit.

Q: Did you have a mentor to encourage your entrepreneurial spirit?

A: Yes. My father the late Donald W. T. Cary

Q: What’s the most rewarding aspect of running your own business?

A: I can run my business according to Kingdom Principles as the Holy Spirit leads me. I am making an impact for the Kingdom of God in the lives of people I probably would never meet outside of them needing a website or a graphic design, etc.
