Minister Tiffinnie Alston
Co-Founder of “Kings Way International & Founder of Phenomenal Woman 360“
Recently, Dr. Davis sat down with Minister Tiffinnie Alston, Co-Founder of Kings Way International & Founder of Phenomenal Woman 360 for an interview to ask Minister Alston a few questions about: “Phenomenal Woman 360”.
Q: What inspired the creation of PW360 Phenomenal Women 360?
A: In February of 2020 I started a process of healing focusing on why I felt like I wasn’t moving forward in some areas of my life. I knew there was something more that I was supposed to do but kept getting stuck and I wanted to know why. Through the process of going back to my childhood, teenage years, etc. I realized there were things and/or people that shaped how I saw myself and decisions I made or didn’t make. Despite or because of it all, it made me who I am today. I believe women need to realize how important we are, and we are stronger because of the things we have experienced. The good, bad and the ugly. I wanted to celebrate all of who we are.
Q: What is it about PW360 Phenomenal Women 360 that interests you?
A: Letting other people share their story. I believe other women can see they are not alone, and they can do more than just make it. They can find their purpose and live it out. Many women limit themselves to what they know or the people they are around but there is something pulling them to do more. They just don’t know how. I want to be that push when women need one. Whether it’s from me or another woman, I want to see us all succeed. Women can get a bad rep of not supporting one another or we are in competition. That shouldn’t and doesn’t have to be the case, so I wanted to change that.
Q: How can the local community and surrounding areas benefit from your services?
A: Right now, by joining the community of PW360. Share what you do, your journey, your experience as I share mine. We are empowering women to embrace who they are, get the healing you need but use it to fulfill your purpose because all things work together for our good.
Q: What are your goals and strategies for promoting your business’s growth?
A: We are currently using social media to promote what we do. We also meet virtually each month to host Pull Up To The Table for our open discussions. We are preparing for a workshop later in the year to do some teaching and give more practical direction for women pursuing their purpose.
Q: What are some of the challenges you’ve faced?
A: My first challenge was starting. I didn’t initially think I had anything to offer in this arena. Then I heard, just start with yourself so I did. Then I wanted to do so much but I didn’t have the people I thought I needed to execute everything in my head and heart. I started and stopped a few times because I let myself get overwhelmed. I prayed and asked God how am I supposed to get this all done, and he said step by step.
Q: What is your vision for the company?
A: My vision is to have a community of women from various backgrounds in all locations that will leverage their experiences, gifts and resources to empower each other in reaching their potential and purpose.
Q: What is your strategy for selecting the right team members?
A: I’m actually looking to build out my team. I am looking for people with compassion and a willingness to serve others. You must have a team mentality, not afraid to share your out of the box ideas. Communication is key, even if it’s not your strong suit because we are all still learning and working through our process.
Q: Did you have a mentor to encourage your entrepreneurial spirit?
A: I’ve had several people encourage me, but it was Apostle Chantell Poole who led the process I started in February. That pushed me and challenged me to be obedient and move. She still does.
Q: What’s the most rewarding aspect of running your own business?
A: I have the flexibility to be there for my family in ways I never have been able to before. I get to make the rules.
Q: List another topic that you would like to briefly discuss during the interview:
A: PW360 is part of our non-profit Kings Way International designed to connect people and community to their purpose. PW360 is one of the many initiatives we have, and I get excited every time someone learns who they are and reaches their potential. That extends to our Feeding With Love food program and our Bullying Prevention programs. We are always looking for volunteers, sponsors and partnerships.
