“Dr. Millicent Davis is my friend, my sister in Christ and someone I look up to and adore.  Ever since we met there was a kindred spirit that felt so real.  There was never anything other than the utmost respect for you.  Wife and mother, a true Proverb 31 woman.  There is nothing you can’t do.  Spiritually an icon a warrior a true woman of God operating in the gift of the spirit.  So meek and mild yet powerful and strong all at the same time.  I can remember when you began your journey to receive your doctorate and you never looked back.  You are a woman of wisdom and make other want to be better. Such a giver of everything without limit.  Love, joy, and peace are your middle names.   You comfort those that need to be comforted.  Your yes to God blesses so many.  We have shared some great moments together including some of my firsts.  Thank you for taking me along to experience the Grand Ole Opry, and Louisiana we had so much fun.  You showed me how to go for the best because we deserve it.
