Recently, Dr. Davis sat down with Gwen Goolsby Tillery, Founder & Owner of “Spark 2 Inspire” for an interview to ask Gwen a few questions about: “Spark 2 Inspire”.

Q: What inspired the creation of Spark 2 Inspire?

A: I began to notice that women spent so much time taking care of everyone and everything except themselves. I wanted to create the opportunity for women to recognize their gifts and talents and find the time to grow spiritually, physically and financially. It was important to create a holistic approach.

Q: What is it about Spark 2 Inspire that interests you?

A: The ability to transform lives and help women walk in their purpose.

Q: How can the local community and surrounding areas benefit from your services?

A: The goal of Spark 2 Inspire is to help empower women in all areas of their lives by providing life coaching, business coaching, marketing and branding services, seminars, workshops, books, and conferences to strengthen and transform their lives spiritually, physically, and financially. This impacts their families and their communities in a positive manner.

Q: What are your goals and strategies for promoting your business’s growth?

A: Spark has grown over the last 4 years through referrals as well as a strategic marketing plan through social media platforms. The latest is the launch of Elevating Minds Network on YouTube Channel.

Q: What are some of the challenges you’ve faced?

A: My biggest challenge has been how to incorporate all that we wanted to offer in a comprehensive manner and getting the information out to the people that would benefit from the service when I started.

Q: What is your vision for the company?

A: My vision is that the company will be able to provide continued services to women and also expand to providing a full wellness center to meet the needs of women all areas of their lives.

Q: What is your strategy for selecting the right team members?

A: This has been a process. Many times the people that you think will be on your team are not the ones that you end up with. Instead God will send you the right people to help you fulfill the mission and the goal of the organization. I have my full team to be able to move with the wellness center.

Q: Did you have a mentor to encourage your entrepreneurial spirit?

A: I did not have a mentor, instead I spent a lot of time reading and researching which has given me the skills, knowledge and passion to help other become successful in business and ministry.

Q: What’s the most rewarding aspect of running your own business?

A: My greatest joy and the most rewarding thing is when I see my clients achieve the goals that they set out to achieve. When they realize that all their hard work has paid off.

Q: List another topic that you would like to briefly discuss during the interview:

A: One of my programs is Success is in Your DNA. It is based on the principle that each and every one of us has been created by God with a specific purpose and plan and He will give us what we need to live out that plan successfully.
